Barn Owls of South Florida

Join me on a WILD experience driving through the backroads where barn owls thrive in South Florida. Through great efforts, the barn owl population in South Florida has increased significantly. Giving photography opportunities unlike anywhere else in Florida or maybe even this country. I hope this workshop gives you the insight of the everyday life of Barn Owls and how our photos help the fight towards conservation for Barn Owls.

Backcountry of South Florida

Join me on a wildlife tour through the backcountry of South Florida where anything may surprise you. In this workshop you can see Caracara and Barred Owls, all the way to Gray foxes and Coyotes.

Wildlife of Pinellas County

In this workshop, from January - March we will visit the nesting residents of Pinellas County such as Eastern Screech owls, Pileated Woodpeckers, Barred Owls, & Great Horned Owls. During April - May is peak migration time in West Coast Florida where many migrating species in breeding colors stop to feed before continuing their journey north.

Wildlife of SWFL

Besides Gainesville, Snail Kites also thrive in the corridor of South Florida. Since these Snail Kites reside in the corridor you may have the chance of encountering some of Florida’s wild animals such as the Florida Panther, Everglades Mink, Florida Black Bear, Turkeys, Deer, etc. Additionally, in the spring time you may have the opportunity of photographing Sandhill Crane Colts, Eastern Screech Owls, and Barred Owls.

Join me on an adventure through the renowned Everglades National Park in South Florida. It’s an area I have probably visited more than any other location in Florida and one thing I have learned about it is that each day there is never the same. Its landscape is a beauty unlike any other and the wildlife you’re more likely to photograph in this workshop are Barred Owls, Osprey, Red Shouldered Hawk, etc.

Screech Owls of South Florida

During this workshop, we'll explore the Eastern Screech Owls that inhabit my local area, even venturing into my own backyard. You'll have the chance to capture stunning images of Sol, Cinnamon, Mad-eye, and others—each of these owls have been given a name by me personally. The highlight of our expedition is Sol, a breathtaking Red-Morph Screech Owl showcased alongside the information provided. She's not only the star of our workshop but also the most captivating owl I've had the honor of encountering and photographing.
